MC Escher (full name Maurits Cornelis Escher) was a Dutch graphic artist best known for his creative artwork involving mostly the construction of impossible architecture dealing with themes such as infinity, relativity and the mathematics of visual distortions.
His graphic work with symmetry and optical illusions amazes and delights. He studied architecture for a short time possibly lending to his grasp of dimensional art and his perception of figures and shapes and his ability to put this to paper is a skill unmatched.
